Having just returned from a sailing holiday with Captain Nikos and Chef, Hostess and all round multi tasker Lesley we wish to express our gratitude and possibly allay any doubts that other first time sailors may be harbouring. For myself and my partner this was our first sailing adventure and what an amazing time we had from start to a tearful finish, our one and only disappointment was having to go home. Nikos is an affable, laid back Captain with a wonderful sense of humour, yet he obviously takes his sailing very seriously. You just know that you are in exceedingly safe hands. Lesley was the perfect hostess and nothing seemed to be too much trouble to ensure that our holiday was perfect, attending to our every need. Lesley prepared delicious breakfasts and at lunchtime we were treated to wonderful salads, pastas and even Mexican. Always something to look forward to. During the day we cruised from island to island with Captain Nikos both regaling us with stories of local interest and providing information. We would anchor in amazing little bays with crystal clear waters where we would spend time swimming, snorkelling and kayaking. When yet another day had simply flown by we would spend the night in different little ports and after Captains cocktails we would visit the local tavernas serving some great food. Thank you both for providing us with such a wonderful holiday with a lifetime of memories. You were so attentive yet never intrusive. We will recommend and most certainly return.

Catherine and I had what we both agree was probably our best holiday ever and all thanks to Nikos and Lesley and a very professional sensitive and thoughtful approach to the business of caring for strangers. We will never forget our experience and the fun we all had on board Nina and the joys of that beautiful part of the world.

I had the absolute pleasure of holidaying on The Blue Marlin this summer following the recommendation of my cousin Lynne & very good friend Clare & their teenage children. This was the 3rd year running for Clare & her family & 2nd year for my cousin & daughter. I had never considered a holiday on a yacht before but having heard such wonderful stories from previous years, I just couldn’t say no……..and my goodness, I am so pleased that I joined them all this year. It truly was a holiday to remember & much much more enjoyable that I envisaged. This was all down to our fabulous Skipper Nikos & superb hostess Lesley. Our trip around the northern islands was just perfect in every way. Both Nikos & Lesley are genuine, welcoming & friendly people who immediately make you feel relaxed & at home. Literally nothing is too much trouble for them. Nikos is so knowledgeable & keen to share the history of the islands & Lesley is just “the dream hostess”, her cooking & attention to detail (ie keeping the wine flowing, of which there was a plenty!!!!”) First class. I would thoroughly recommend this holiday (& have done so to many of my friends already!)……& will definitely be sailing with Nikos & Lesley again in 2015……counting the days.

We sailed with Lesley and Nikos late September 2013. It was towards the end of the season but the sun was still shining, the sailing was still calm and there was still plenty of ice cream left in the cafes. It also meant we had some of the stunning azure coves all to ourselves to swim in!

We had never been sailing like this before but were in very experienced hands. Nikos is a confident skipper who clearly knows the area like the back of his hand and, although I am sure he has travelled around these islands many times, his love for this area meant he was as excited as we were each time we came into a new port. His sailing skill, relaxed approach to life and enthusiasm for Greece quickly got us into the holiday spirit. Lesley is a superb hostess and great cook.
She is extremely well-connected which means she knows the best bakeries to go to get the freshest croissants to take on board for our breakfasts and the best fish restaurants with a view. It was so relaxing to be looked after and sailed around amazing coastlines while we read, swam, dozed, took photos, ate, chatted and ate some more! We would definitely recommend the experience to friends and family.
